Spring is in the air and summer is skipping closely behind in her bejeweled Manolo sandals.  As the weather heats up, and our flirty summer dresses come flowing out of the closet, who wants to be bogged down with a lot of heavy makeup?   The moment we heard about Vasanti’s Tinted Lipbalm, we knew our summer crush had arrived.

Why We Love It: #1 – Texture.  #2 – Color.  Every product Vasanti makes that we’ve tried (and we’ve tried a lot of them!) has an amazing texture to it, the kind of texture you want to put on every day even when you’re not in the makeup mood.  Ok, we get it…feels good, so now let’s pick a color.  Let’s see…that one’s nice, oh, but that one’s pretty too, and then there’s…oooooh.  That is exactly what goes through our head when trying to choose.  These days it is not uncommon to find as many as 5 Vasanti lip glosses in our bag because we simply can’t decide which one we want to wear for the day.  It’s a love love kind of thing.

 

Current Obsessions: -Tinted Lipbalm in ‘Bahamas’.  Why?  It seriously looks good on everybody, plus, it’s moisturizing and soothing for those dry summer lips.  Lastly, the tropical guava scent makes you feel like you’re on a permanent vacation. 
-Eye & Cheek Putty in ‘Magic World’ or ‘Wonderland’.  Why?  This super cool, light as air texture in versatile eye to cheek colors you can apply with your fingers, makes it a permanent staple in our bag for on the go makeup emergencies! 
-Eyeshadow in ‘Stockholm’ or ‘Casablanca’.  Why?  Velvety smooth shadows that blend flawlessly into the skin.  Stockholm is a beautiful shimmery taupe with silver highlights, and Casablanca is a gorgeous champagne gold color (try as a highlighter on cheeks too!).
