We've said it before and we'll say it again, the way you apply all that gorgeous makeup you buy is what will make you look like a million bucks or bargain store Betty. Having amazing, quality, brushes really is that important. On that note, we are pleased to bring back one of our favorite beauty tool experts, A Design Brushes!.
 About the Brand: A Design brushes launched in 2006 when parent company Anisa International (who manufactures brushes for several top end makeup lines - who they are is very hush hush, but trust us these are the brushes you want to buy!) decided there was a need in the market for unique, high-end, yet affordable brushes. With an eye for quality, excellence and product innovation, it's no wonder that you can find A Design brushes in the hands of celebrity makeup artists like Charlie Green and on the pages of glossies like Lucky and Allure.
Why We Love It: Trying to find the perfect brush can feel a bit like recounting the story of Goldilocks, this one's too big, this one?s too small, and then you finally find one that is juuuuust right. A Design is exactly that, just right. The quality of their brushes really is top notch. Aside from the quality though, the shapes of these brushes are equally important in the "just right" feeling. They feel good in hand; have just the right stiffness, softness, fullness, or point. The brushes are luxurious and really help you apply pigments the way they were meant to be applied. We love that because of the companies desire to constantly innovate, there are so many uniquely shaped brushes to choose from in the line, like their newest "skin care set" that was made to bring the professional facial into your own home or the Pointed Concealer brush, that puts A Design just a cut above the rest. Lastly, but certainly not least, we love that with everything they are, the one thing they are not, is cruel to animals.
Current Obsessions: Every brush from this line is amazing, but we can no longer remember what it was like to live without the All Over Eye Brush (used as the name implies) and the Eye #1 brush (used for creating a great smokey eye and blending everything to perfection). We also love the "mini set" (six essential brushes in a compact design but with full brush heads for flawless application making it the perfect travel set).
