A-listers like J-Lo, Sarah Jessica, Drew and Kerri Russell have known about it for years through their ultra savvy make up artists, but I Nuovi has yet to be available to American beauty mavens...until now. Straight from Singapore, I Nuovi literally translates to ‘new things’.  Who could resist this feature for January ‘08?

Why We Love It

We know this line is going to be a huge hit and we’re thrilled to bring it to you first!  We at Yellow Box have discerning tastes and the quality of the I Nuovi products passes with flying colors.  Speaking of colors, we loved so many of them, choosing the few that went into the boxes was almost impossible.  Last, but not least, we adore the modern bubble packaging of the D27 and D36 eye shadows and blushes, so 22nd century!

 

Current Obsessions: Being the lip junkies that we are, we are totally obsessed with the Ivoluxe lipstick in Sensual; a sweet but vibrant plum/pink with the most divine glide on like air texture and a hint of shine (for warm tones we love Toffee, a mauve mocha with all the same lovely attributes). 

 

We also love the Colours D27 in Cashmere (a soft shimmery pink/lavender for cool tones) and Suede (a gorgeous shimmery mossy/olive for warmer tones, though we think it looks good on everyone).

 

Lastly, we had to rave about the Gelbase, a lightweight water-based foundation that truly leaves a no-makeup feel while providing moderate coverage.  For those of you who don’t like to put a bunch of stuff on your face, but still want to feel made up, this is one to check out.  Plus, it’s non-comedogenic, meaning, no breakouts.  Yeah!
