About the Brand: As much as we adore the fragrance, we didn't want to forget the amazing brand behind it. International makeup artist Rosie Jane Johnston created Rosie Jane Cosmetics with a goal to help women enhance their natural beauty and radiance, using minimal amounts of makeup.
Since the successful release of her original Cheek Gloss product, Rosie has expanded the line to include 'Eye Hints' cream eye shadow , 'Lip Dew' lip-gloss, and 'Eye Defines' eye liner with a breakthrough new flat shape design! All products are naturally based and made with healthy ingredients like Shea butter and beeswax instead of petroleum and better.... are not tested on animals, yeah!!
Why We Love It: We love the Rosie Jane brand in general for being eco-conscious (example - the Leila Lou fragrance purposely doesn't have an outer box to cut down on waste and greenhouse gases) and for trying to include natural good for you ingredients like Shea butter and beeswax, or in the case of Leila Lou, pure essential oils. We love that the formulas are expertly crafted for lasting glow, color and radiance, with scents that hail from heaven. Current Obsessions: Ok, normally this is so hard, but this month's obsession is a no brainer. We are crushing on the Leila Lou fragrance! Every time we wear it admirers seem to come out of the woodworks. We also love, love, love, Rosie Jane's Lip Dew in Apple Blossom - think super shiny with the tiniest hint of pink for a pretty pouty pucker. So fresh and so chic chic.
In The Box: Subscribers to the April Yellow Box received a full size bottle of the Leila Lou fragrance, a 'Cheek Gloss' Lip and Cheek color that gives you a hint of color and "glow", and a 'Lip Dew', a slightly tinted lip gloss and balm in one making it a perfect take along day or night.
